With the launch of the exciting Umhlanga New Town Centre development plan, came the birth of the Grid high rise division. It all began in January 2005 with the commencement of The Zone. Ten months later, with construction of this 7-storey flagship tower block still in progress, another 2 high rise developments were launched - The Lighthouse and The Sentinel. These too, were multi-storey tower blocks, incorporating a mixture of commercial, retail and residential units. Grid successfully delivered The Zone in May 2006. The Lighthouse and The Sentinel were completed a few months later in January 2007, just after the commencement of our forth high rise development, The Place. Also a mixed use tower block, The Place will running concurrently with a neighbouring Grid Group development - The Zenith. Both these projects will be completed by the end of 2008.
